ARIZONA DISABLED VETERAN FOUNDATION, FISCAL YEAR EXPLAINED

The Arizona Disabled Veteran Foundation operates on a fiscal year which begins on July 1st of each year and ends on June 30th of the following year. We went to this procedure for a couple reasons. Certified Public Accountant are less busy during the summer as opposed to the end of the year. Furthermore, it gives us the opportunity to render aid in the year in which the funds were raised. The Internal Revenue Service classifies this type of fiscal year, based on the year accounting begins, i.e., 7/1/2014 through 6/302015 as tax year 2014.
